So I’ve been considering options for a sythesizer based on the Sid chip of Commodore 64 fame for a few years. I’ve weighed the many options that are out there; Sidstation, Hardsid, modifying a C64 etc. I finally decided on making a Midibox Sid. I picked up a C64 with the power supply on eBay and a couple kits I will need from here. This is gonna be such a fun project! I can’t wait to get started on it. It’ll probably take a me a while to get completed, but at least it will give me something to blog about in the time being.

I like DIY type stuff. while I was browsing the Midibox site I found another project I’d really like to take up one day as well, the Midibox 808, anyway that’s for a future post.
