I’ve been working on a pretty insane project. For now, the project has a working title called “The MIDI Slave Sessions”. The title probably gives you a hint as to what it’s about. Since my last post I’ve been working with my two Novation Launchpads, custome MIDI Controller, Bome’s MIDI Translator, Reaktor, FL Dashboards and Patcher presets. The result is a MASSIVE FL Studio template connecting several of my synths and drum machines. The goal is to create an essentially blank template that allows for improvisational song writing. The template also will include two different outputs for video; from FL’s Z Game Editor, as well as video output from my MIDInes.

In addition, when the template is complete (it’s completion is in sight now) I’ll be recording some of the sessions for youtube, as well as creating some how-to videos explaining some of the inner workings of the template. This template is so large that I plan on writing a users manual for it for myself.

Big things will be coming from my studio this year.
